Beach Party Invitations
Beach party invitations set the theme for your next pool party. Make your invitations in the shape of a beach ball and contain wording like, "Come have a ball..a beach ball at Sam's Pool Party." If you can hand deliver the invitations hang uncostly sand buckets on the door knob with the invitation sitting inside rolled up and tied with blue ribbon. Scatter some crumbled graham crackers on the bottom for sand.
Beach Party Decorations
Tie a colorful swim ring onto the pool gate and drape a striped or polka-dot beach towel over the top of the gate. Decorate the party table with a inviting colored beach towel for the tablecloth and coordinating colored sand buckets and sand toys for the centerpiece. Hang blown up beach balls from the patio umbrella ribs.
Beach Party Food
Serve chips, trail mix or Goldfish in new sand buckets lined with a colorful napkin. Finger foods like fruit kebabs or slices of watermelon and cut out sandwiches are easy to make and serve. Instead of a cake, make beach party cupcakes. Fun cupcakes can be made with homemade cupcake wrappers and then decorate the frosting with colored sugar and coconut. Use a plastic parrot or pink flamingo finger puppet as a cupcake topper and then as a take home gift. Or sprinkle crumbled graham cracker crumbs on the frosting for sand and place a party parasol stick in the frosting.
Beach Party Favors
Use plastic or metal sand buckets instead of party bags. Place a piece of tissue paper, napkin or tulle in the pail and then add small gifts like fun sunglasses, toy water squirters, unique straws, bags of Goldfish, or plastic finger puppets.
